blogged.

so we are blogging. i'm not sure how well we will do with keeping this up, but we are going to try. i wish i could say that i will be filling it with loads of pictures of our daily happenings, but i seem to have lost that little cord that connects the camera to the computer, so for now, i can only use my words. :)

today makes exactly one month of marriage. after much thought, i've decided i'll keep him around, and it seems he agrees, so i think we are in a good spot. :) it feels like a million things have happened in the last month, but as i have only a short period of time, and you probably don't want to read too much of my rambling, i'll keep it simple and just give you a "top ten" of sorts......

10. we spent the first day of our honeymoon in cancun at a 6 and a half hour timeshare presentation. oops.
9. i made my first meal as a wife: macaroni and cheese. it's a good thing he loves me.
8. our new house in prescott valley is coming along pretty nicely...we have walls, windows, bathtubs, and a completed roof!
7. our current house leaked with all the rain. a lot. no really, A LOT.
6. did i mention it's rained a lot? monsoon season, or so they say. :)
5. we bought a couch. more like a loveseat, actually. it matches the one i had from the condo, and which i had just about given up on finding in the right color!
4. our church in prescott valley put together a lunch reception for us after we returned from our honeymoon, which was really sweet of them.
3. our wedding pictures posted online!!! i love them. :)
2. my friend katie, who was a bridesmaid in our wedding, got married up in oakland, so i spent a few days up there being bridesmaid-y, while aaron stayed home re-living his bachelor days of yore......he says he missed me though, so that's a good thing. :)
1. i changed my name with social security and the dmv (or mvd, as it's called here in az.) my license doesn't expire until i am 65. um, WHAT? i could pretty much keep my same picture, and weight, for the next 39 years, apparently. all that to say, i'm now officially a jones!
