When Micah was teeny tiny and brand new, everyone said, "Enjoy it now....it goes by so fast!" As her parents, while we treasure the moments we have with her, we also can't wait to see all the new things she's learning to do with each passing day. Her growing up is bittersweet. With each new day we see more and more of her little personality developing, and we have yet to see something we don't love. On October 30th, she celebrated her half birthday and I couldn't help but be amazed at how much can happen in so short a time. So much has happened, even the feeling of holding her in my arms for the first time seems like a distant and fuzzy memory, and I can't lie- it makes me a bit sad.
But on to the less mushy stuff.......at her six month appointment, Micah weighed in at 15 lbs 6 oz, which is about the 33rd percentile, measured 26 1/2 inches long, which is about 67th percentile, and her head is a whopping 17 inches, which is about the 64th percentile. At right about the 6th month mark, she started crawling, pulling herself up on our shorter furniture and other surfaces (ie, pantlegs), and cutting two bottom teeth.
We love you, baby girl!!
