the little things

The perfect storm....and a lovely evening:

1) A chilly night. (If you're living anywhere besides SoCal, you can pretend that by "chilly" I mean something colder than 59 degrees.)

2) A peppermint white mocha.

3) The Ralph's parking lot with only a dozen cars.

4) One hour at the sparsely populated grocery store, free to peruse the aisles with enough time to sift through a stack of coupons, sip my coffee, plan meals, etc.....

5) .....all made possible by the little baby I love so dearly, home asleep in bed, without whom grocery shopping would still feel like a chore. :)
