after an exhausting couple of months since school started, we moved, etc....november has finally rolled around. the end is in sight! (the end of the semester, christmas vacation, you know the drill.) anyhow, so glad to have made it this far. i inherited a junior class at school to add to my 9th grade classes, and so far it's been, well, interesting. we are in that "getting to know each other" phase, and it's definitely taking longer with some of them than i'd hoped. we'll get there, though...i'm sure of it. :)
we also got new neighbors, which means we are no longer the ONLY people living on our street. they're quiet so far, but they seem nice enough. i'm glad we got blinds just in time for them to move in though......
well, my apologies again for the fairly lame, pictureless blog. my fingers are crossed that when i get home this evening my new modem and internet hook-up materials will be waiting on my doorstep so that i don't have to put up with this sporadic blogging anymore.
i (we) hope this post-election, pre-holiday time finds you well, and able to look with hope on the future of our nation, because in the end, we know that though man makes plans, it is God who truly directs our steps......
