baby's first (clear) photos :)

ok. i know many of you (scratch that, probably all of you) have seen these online, but oh well. i'm sprinkling them throughout a brief update of life :).......

1) thanksgiving: we spent thanksgiving up in the bay area with with the jones side of the family. i think one of aaron's favorites was the go-kart racing on friday morning, while mine and/or the baby's was the food, food, and more food. below, see the baby waving in approval.....

2) post-thanksgiving, on december 1st, we had our "big" ultrasound appointment, where we got to see more detail than we've seen before (and perhaps more detail than this poor little girl really wanted to expose.) though i think the one above is one of my favorites, i also really like this one:

.....unless you're more into the "sci-fi genre," in which case you might enjoy the following:

3) as for christmas this year, i'm being kind of lame. i'm just so tired when i get home, and we have so little room, that i have completely lost my motivation to decorate. i think this weekend i'll probably do a little bit, but i am just really trying to make it to the school break....only 6 school days to go. i guess right now doing my christmas shopping has become more important to me than putting up my deco. so, a sad year for us, with no tree. :( i figure that as our last year without kids, there is no one to disappoint, right? :) what baby doesn't know won't hurt her. :) on that note, i have titled the following baby pic "mommy abuse" due to the fact that she was actively moving while it was taken....punching and kicking vigorously. fortunately for me, i can only barely feel tiny movements right now, so i can't be too mad.

ok, i think that is it for now....i'm just trying desperately not to be the worst blogger in the history of blogging, and so far failing miserably. i think it'll be much easier when we have an actual baby to talk extensively about. :)

love you all, and wish you well in this christmas season!

  2. seriously....i am not making it! i actually spent the first ten minute of lunch on thursday SOBBING. i'm not even kidding. alana thought i was having a serious medical issue, and i was just feeling a little stressed. i don't think i've ever needed my christmas break more desperately!!!! thanks for the help. now i don't have to feel like such a dummy, as i have fixed it. :) (i can't lie, though, the first time i fixed it and re-published, it actually read "bab's first photos.") seriously, i'm mentally handicapped. i'm praying it's just because she will be SO smart that she's actually taking some of my brain cells. :)
