another blogging friend of mine subscribes to the idea of "not me mondays." this is an opportunity to share something that I certainly wouldn't be caught dead doing. ever. "not me."
though it's technically not a monday, i have time now, and it is highly likely that will not be the case on an actual monday, so here goes.....
yesterday, i most certainly did not take my less-than-one-month-old infant to the movies. i also most certainly did not expose her tiny mind to iron man 2, fight scenes and all. and i most definitely did not enjoy myself.
**disclaimer: this IS something which is sponsored by my local movie theater. for $6, you can bring your baby to the movies, feed them at your leisure, change diapers in a special area in the back, and not get booed for having a crying baby disrupt a "tender moment" in the film. even though this is a real live event hosted by a real live movie theater, i absolutely did not circle the parking lot a minimum of three times waiting to see if i could spot any other infant-toting parents before parking my car and purchasing me ticket.
definitely not me. and certainly not my baby. :)
Hilarious! :) A local theater around here does that, too, though I have never gone. I'm glad that you are passing on your love of the arts to Micah so early ;)
