- Micah is currently potty training. Or at least currently sitting on the potty. She did go twice last night, once seemingly on purpose, and only had one accident yesterday. Progress? Maybe, but I'm not holding my breath.
- Micah is also taking swim lessons. Today is lesson #5 out of 10. She LOVES her teacher, and therefore hates sharing her with the rest of the students. She seems to be doing a decent job, though she gets bored with doing the same things over and over again, and still doesn't understand that I'm holding on to her in the pool so that she doesn't DROWN, not because I'm mean.
- Micah has transitioned fairly seamlessly into a big girl bed. And I mean BIG girl bed.....it's a queen. It was what we had in the garage at the time, so we're giving it a shot. It's just the box spring and mattress on the floor, lest you're concerned. :)
- Aaron is nearly finished at the Golf Academy.....just one month left! It feels like he's been in school such a long time; I think it will be weird when he doesn't have homework to do every night. :)
- We've moved. It's a good move, but man what a pain. Micah's toys may be small, but she comes with so many you'd never know it. As much as I was fed up with our old place, I will confess to having shed tears for no other reason than that it's the first place Micah ever came home to. The new place has a little patio yard that is fenced, three bedrooms, plenty of playing space, and MAY even have enough room for a little upright piano, which makes me happy. We are currently working on the garage, though, as we are able to park both cars, but have to come up with an organizational pattern which will continue allowing me to heft my large belly in and out of the car. On more than one occasion I've pulled in, turned the car off, and attempted to get out, only to have to start the process over because no matter how I tried to wedge it, the belly just couldn't get out.
- And that's leads us to the belly. Baby #2, another girl, is due October 5th. I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so as much as I'd like to wait on her arrival as we did with Micah, we will have to see what the doctors say as we get closer. (ie, if she is 10 lbs, they WILL be getting her out immediately!)
I'd love to post some photos, but that would take organization, focus, and the ability to find my camera at the moment, none of which seem to be happening for me, so those will have to come later. Here's to 2012 and a fresh start to blogging. Or what's left of 2012, that is. ;)
Yay! Glad you're back! I feel so out of the loop. Excited to hear that you're having another girl!

We are having another girl! And if you don't mind, Hannah is actually our current #1 baby name choice. We figure we've never met a Hannah we didn't like. ;)
