mom hair (oh, and my huge belly)

so i got a new haircut. i'm calling this "mom hair." it's easy, and i like it. :) i will miss the "ponytail option," but at this point, i felt like all i was doing was the ponytail option.....

as for the huge belly....it is exactly that. i woke up this morning feeling 10 pounds heavier. i feel "stretched".....i think that's the best way to describe it. good news from the doctor this week is that she appears to be hanging out head-down as of 33 weeks, which is a pretty good sign that she'll remain that way. i've got to make it four weeks until spring break, and then only about two weeks past, which is good news! i'm just praying that our april baby doesn't turn into a may baby!! :) having a doctor's appointment every two weeks now, though time-consuming, is also helping the time to go by a bit more quickly!

the big goal for the next week or two is to take down the bed in the guest room/baby's room, and get the crib in there. (small side note- this would first require that we PURCHASE a crib.....little tiny thing, right?) we seem to pretty much be set on the rest of the stuff.....i think. once that is done, i'll take some more photos and post. :) it will most definitely take me a couple of weeks, so don't hold your breath. :)

  1. I love the "mom" haircut! Short hair is so much easier. If and when you do get a shower it only takes about 3 minutes to blow dry your hair.
Don't stress about the crib. You won't use it for the first couple of weeks if that makes you feel any better. :-)
Hope you had some fun shopping this weekend!!

  2. I have every intention on just going with the "over-grown" look as far as hair goes for a bit. Are you planning on staying at work all the way through your pregnancy or are you ending at 36 weeks?

  3. Well, because we have to use sick days to "pay" for our 6 weeks of leave, I'm left to kind of "waddle" through until the end. :) Fortunately, I have spring break there at about week 37/38 weeks, so that will be a nice break. After a day like today, though....I'm not sure how I'm going to make it!!! :(
