Bedtime Routine

Micah's nightly routine:

1) Bath

2) PJs

3) Brush teeth

4) Say goodnight to Daddy

5) Read Go, Dog, Go & There's a Zamp in my Lamp 

(Flip-book versions only. Plain paper pages? BO-RING....apparently.)

6) Wrestle with blanket in teeth like a puppy (Just to clarify, that's Micah, not me.)

7) Into the crib

8) Blanket over the head for a bit of hide and seek

9) Game's over when the blanket does not come off, and her little hand comes out and waves goodbye. (That's my cue...."Beat it, Mom.")

Tonight, though, because I wanted to snap a quick picture of her room to document my organizational skills the last time it would look that way, she decided to really ham it up with me before lights out, and I couldn't resist:

Faking it.....if she could pretend snore she would totally be doing it in this picture.....since it was taken all of 30 seconds after the one above.

See that brightly colored thing? The main character from one her favorite books....that's the "Wocket" in my pocket. And yes, it is still her favorite stuffed animal in the world.

What a ham.
