Today we had Micah's one month appointment. (She is officially 5 weeks today, but who's counting?) Other than being doubly traumatized, first by having to wake up AND strip completely naked to be weighed, and then by a shot in the thigh (not to mention the silent....literally....scream of horrific pain when Mommy ripped- gently- the band-aid off later), it went fairly well.
Anyhow, here are her stats at one month:
Weight - 9 lb 2 oz - 48%
Length - 21 3/4 inches - 76%
(And for those concerned, her head circumference also puts her in the 76%....um, ok....)
The nurse who came in to give the shot commented that for a 9-pounder she was expecting a chubby girl. Nope....we have a little girl who is busting the snaps on her newborn onesies, and being swallowed whole by her 0-3 month clothes!
Oh, what to do. :)
